QUETTA: Six people were killed and 20 others injured when a blast took place in Dera Allah Yar town of Jaffarabad district.
The blast occurred in a busy market of Dera Allah Yar town, adding that around a dozen shops were damaged in the vicinity. The blast left a six-inch-deep crater. The bomb was planted in a motorcycle, sources said.—Online
Meanwhile, at least four labourers were shot dead by some unidentified motorcyclists on the National Highway on Friday. According to Levies sources, four labourers were proceeding to Mehmand Zai when some unknown motorcyclists intercepted their vehicle at Kallat National Highway and opened fire on them, killing the four labourers on the spot.—Online
